Salifu holds Master of Accounting Education and Master of Philosophy in Accounting from University of Cape Coast.
He teaches Financial and Cost Accounting in Kusanaba Senior High school, Zebilla in Upper East Region. District Chairman, PRETAG, Zebilla.
Salifu is the regional treasurer of PRETAG-Upper East and currently the Vice Board Secretary.
